We currently seek volunteers for 2 programs:

#1 Spanish-English translator for the Mobile Food Pantry of Feeding Westchester

Do you know of someone who is bilingual and who might be interested in volunteering with us? Perhaps you, yourself, are bilingual?
The Ossining Food Pantry co-sponsors an outdoor Mobile Food Pantry truck from Feeding Westchester.  This program runs from 11:45 am to 1:30 pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month and takes place at the Star of Bethlehem Church in Ossining. 
Ages 18+ welcome, and no longer attending high school
This is an outdoor activity.

#2 Thursday AM Agency Delivery

Our Agency delivery program runs from about 8:00 – 8:30 am on the 1st & 3rd Thursday morning of every month.  Volunteers use their vehicles to deliver pre-packed grocery bags of food to The Ossining Children’s Center.
Volunteers should be able to carry heavy shopping bags (~ 25 lbs) up a flight of stairs. Volunteers need a valid driver’s license and their own vehicle.
